About Me

An enthusiastic and motivated graduate with a BA degree in Latvian Language and Technical Translation. Throughout my four years abroad, I have developed a keen sense of observation and an understanding of social context, as well as a greater ability to analyze the sub-context of a situation accurately. Now I am seeking a job that allows me to apply acquired skills and embody my interests to the fullest.

I enjoy traveling and, as an old Chinese saying goes, "Travelling ten thousand miles is better than reading ten thousand books". In my journeys, I can experience the magic of nature's creations; I can experience vitality that I have never experienced in the bustle of the city; I can experience a different scenery and a different way of life. There are two types of scenery in the world: natural and spiritual. If a sunrise on a beach, an aurora borealis during the cold months of winter, and the sound of church bells are all parts of the natural scenery, words comprise the spiritual one. In its beauty and grandeur, the written word is no less impressive than any natural wonder. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful words in the world, the most beautiful spiritual landscapes. People who write are naturally happier, since they are able to not only appreciate, but also create beauty. It is a pleasure for me to write. I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise it won't be boring.
